On March 15 , Inycom and CNTA organize, in collaboration with Tekniker and Grupo La Caña as well as all members of MEDITOMATO project, a hybrid workshop (in person and online) where the innovative technologies developed within the framework of the MEDITOMATO project and which are being applied in the agri-food sector will be presented. .

This event aims to promote the use of new technologies and the importance of R&D&i in the field of agrifood to improve and evolve more remarkably. Ingecontrol presented projects in which it is working, like MEDITOMATO and different success cases also related. In addition to a formal presentation, a practical session was held in which specific applications and hardware related to MEDITOMATO such as computer vision, augmented reality, location systems and different examples of IoT were shown.

The kick-off meeting of the MEDITOMATO was held 3-4th June 2019 in the facilities of Grupo La Caña (Spain), one of the three demo-sites in the project. The meeting was led by Ingeniería y Control Electrónico S.A., coordinators of the project and included a presentation of the work to be done in the following years and visits to the Spanish demo-site.
